Opportunities

Accessibility Team

The Accessibility Resources Team works to ensure that the activities of Pride Toronto do not exclude any person due to unnecessary barriers, including the elderly and those with visible and invisible disabilities. Also works to facilitate the participation of persons who use wheelchairs/scooters/other assistive devices, who are sight impaired, who speak ASL, who use the assistance of working animals, who require attendant care, or people with other disabilities. Volunteer positions are available during the Weekend of Pride Week. Headquarter assistants are needed to help provide Accessibility services to visitors. Volunteers are needed to help provide mobility assistance to visitors who request it. The position of Host is also available which involves greeting and assisting with visitors in the Accessibility Viewing Stands at outdoor entertainment venues.
